If you aren’t familiar with the Health Ranger, Mike Adams, you should be. He is a natural food activist, consumer advocate, Journalist and even a computer programmer. He built his site www.NaturalNews.com and is also the editor.
His site has grown to be a multi-million visitor website that talks all about food labeling, GMOs, metal discovered in wheaties, the un-scientific nature of psychotropic drugs, the false news spread by some news agencies and much more. His site ranks at around #750 for all websites in the US according to Alexa.com.
Well Mike Adams is one of the many juicers who had a Breville juicer and upgraded. He now uses the Hurom Slow Juicer.
“I have incredible news for you about a truly revolutionary new juicer that now takes first place at the top of my recommendations list. This juicer isn’t a centrifugal juicer with a blade that shreds your vegetables; it’s a whole new category of juicing technology. And it offers significant advantages that make this a must-have appliance for your kitchen…
I have completely converted my kitchen to the Hurom Slow Juicer. I previously used the Breville centrifugal juicer, and I still highly recommend that machine.” —Health Ranger from NaturalNews.com
Other prominent health advocates who endorse the Hurom Slow Juicer
If you’ve done research online you’ve no doubt run into John Kohler from DiscountJuicers.com and if you’re into eating raw foods, you’ve probably run across Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram from FullyRaw.com. Well both of them joined together to make a videos discussing their favorite juicers… and guess which one they agreed on most? The Hurom
(watch the video clip below).
Why is this juicer so popular?
The Hurom Juicer has gained a lot of traction in sales because of its ability to keep juices extremely nutritious. It spins at a low 80 RPM and thus does not add heat when juicing. Now you already know that the Green Star Elite is the “best juicer” for juicing greens. However, there is a problem with it: it takes long to clean and takes some skill to use in some cases. The Hurom Slow Juicer meets in the middle, it keeps the nutrition but also juicers much faster than the Green Star Elite and is also easier to clean.
Price of the Juicer
The juicer costs $300 on Amazon which compares to the Omega VRT350, which costs $360 and is practically the same juicer. This value is pretty amazing. You will also save because the yield on this juicer is higher than that of the Breville, as quoted by the Health Ranger and many others who have used both juicers.
What do you recommend for a juicing store? Commercial grade please!
For a commercial grade juicer; your minimum (to try it out) would be to get the Omega BMJ390. From my understanding, it meets all the legal requirements for a commercial grade juicer and is pretty cheap. The other industry-grade juicers run at over $2k which are the Miracle MJ800 Commercial Juice Extractor or the Ruby Commercial Juicer. They pump out juice really fast (and are loud) at about 1 qt of juicer per minute. I’m giving you the little information I know, as I’ve never used that kind of juicer, but can tell you that stores most commonly use these much more expensive juicers.
